Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration department healthcare insurance company revenue cycle vendor and/or other revenue cycle related 2 years preferredKnowledge of charity care programs as well as the various government and non-government programs preferredHigh School diploma GED or equivalentThorough understanding of insurance policies and proceduresWorking knowledge of medical terminologyAble to perform basic mathematics for payment calculationExperience in requesting and processing financial paymentsIntermediate to advanced computer skills
