Patient Relations/Administrative Specialist Position Summary

Coordinates and performs administrative functions for the Hospitalist practice, to include supporting the Medical Director, Senior Practice Manager and all providers. Assists with the departmental onboarding, orientation and retention of providers within the group. Serves as an ambassador of the practice and is responsible for enhancing patient relations, facilitating the resolution of patient concerns to improve HCAP scores.

 

 

 

Patient Relations/Administrative Specialist Position Requirements

Education

High School graduate or equivalent required. Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred. High school diploma and 3 years of additional related experience over and above the 5-year minimum requirement may be considered in lieu of Associates Degree.

Experience

At least 5 years of administrative or supervisory/management/coordination experience required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Patient Relations/Administrative Specialist Schedule

Primarily, day shift, typically Monday through Friday. May be required to work on  evenings and weekends as needed.

Patient Relations/Administrative Specialist Benefits

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
