Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree Healthcare, Business Administration. Or equivalent educ/experience. 2 years specific to patient registration, insurance verification and/or financial counseling/billing or collections. 6 months experience with insurance eligibility systems including Medicaid (Medi-Cal), Medicare and other commercial and private payer eligibility systems. 3 months Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. 2 years demonstrates knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding. Successful completion of the Patient Access Training modules within ninety (90) days of obtaining position.
