The SLP Clinic supports 5 unique neurology and mental health subspecialty programs. All programs provide comprehensive care to patients including clinical and non-clinical support. We see patients who are experiencing first time symptoms as well as those with a longstanding diagnosis who may be struggling to find the best treatment. Our team consists of providers, nurses, social workers, PharmD, and other health care professionals that diagnose and treat patients. Our team of experts provide the latest in clinical care along with education and support to patients and caregivers.
What you will do as a Patient Scheduler:
Represents clinic and provides high level of customer service to patients, guests and staffDemonstrates ability to resolve front desk issues such as patient complaints, tracking missing formsReceives patient into clinic and notifies patient care teamMonitors waiting area and notifies patient of appointment delays and rescheduling optionsCoordinates the scheduling and canceling of patient appointments and complex, multi-faceted visits with specialists, diagnosticians, and other ancillary servicesRequests/obtains patient reports for patient visit and manages electronic health information confidentiallyGreets callers in a professional manner and routes messages to care team per protocolAccurately documents and relays phone messages via the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) tasking systemWhat you will need:
Knowledge of basic medical terminologyPrevious clerical experience in a medical or customer service settingGood communication and customer service skillsGood prioritization, data entry skills, dependable and team playerLocation: St. Louis Park Clinic - 5775 Wayzata Blvd Suite 200 St. Louis Park, MN 55416
Hours: 40 hours / week, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM with some flexibility for earlier.
