Patient Service Navigator Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie, WI (Onsite) Full-Time Apply Now Job Details + POSITION PURPOSE + The Patient Service Navigator works in conjunction with the providers and clinic staff to take care of the clinic and patients' referral and administrative needs. + MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED + High School or Equivalent (GED) + MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED + 1 year + LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED + N/A + KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED + Possesses a pleasant and professional attitude and appearance. + Demonstrate exceptional customer service behavior. + Display excellent face-to-face, telephone, and written communication skills. + Have comprehensive keyboard skills and computer knowledge. + Demonstrate proficiency in multi-tasking, time management, organization, attention to detail, quality, independent problem solving, and critical thinking. + Flexible with work schedule, reliable, and a team player. + PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES + Manage/schedules referral appointments for patients at the time of visit for specialists, therapy and diagnostic testing. + Provides f/u to patients for referral appointments. + Answer multiple phone lines. + Process phone calls, mail, emails and fax requests from patients, providers, other departments/clinics, external organizations. + Conduct appropriate follow-up with patients via phone or mail. + Communicate applicable messages to clinic staff. + Register and schedule patients for appointments maximizing the provider's schedule. + Verify insurance coverage and obtain appropriate insurance referrals and authorizations. + Check in/out patients. + Entering and updating patient data into system programs accurately. + Collecting, processing, and recording payments. + Providing accurate and complete information to the billing office.
