In this role, you'll:\n\nProvide support and services tailored to the college student experience.\nEngage with students to understand and address their health and wellness needs.\nParticipate in impactful campus-wide initiatives that promote student well-being.\n\n
Experience with social media is a plus as we continue to enhance communication and engagement with the student body.\n

Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nPatient intake, such as greet and check-in patients\/verify\/update patient demographics\nAssist patients with filling out consent forms\nReceive and process cash and credit card payments for medical services rendered\nInitiate calls, pages and triage phone calls.\nAssists in admissions, discharges, transfers and fulfills other customer service or clerical duties\n\n
Required Skills and Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nProfessional manner and appearance\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nMeticulous attention to detail\nAbility to work independently\nGood time management and prioritization skills\n\n
Preferred Skills and Experience:\n\nCollege-level training\/education in a healthcare support field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience or skills will be considered\nPrevious EMR use\/training helpful\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) \nKnowledge of medical terms and practices preferred\n\n
Physical Requirements:\n\n5% standing 95% sitting\n\n
Location and Travel Requirements:\n\nOnsite\nHammond Health Center, Ithaca College - 953 Danby Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850\nMonday - Thursday - during the semesters: shift coverage until 7pm on rotational basis. Saturdays 10-2 during the semesters on a rotational basis\n\n
Pay Range Disclosure:\n\n$15.00 to $23.00 per hour\nShift Differential: Earn an additional $1.25 per hour for qualifying shifts, adding extra value to your contributions during designated times.\n\n
