Patient Service Representative Neuromodulation & Pelvic Health EMEA

The Patient & Technical Services department in Heerlen is responsible for addressing clinical and technical product inquiries for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Maintaining the highest standards of reliability and quality in our products to ensure patient safety. This position is based remotely in Portugal, and we welcome applications from both experienced professionals and recent graduates. In this dynamic role as a Patient Service Representative, you will be the primary contact for patients with implanted neurostimulators or drug pumps, handling technical and application-related inquiries. You will provide technical support for the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Operating Units across EMEA, addressing patient concerns about living with these devices, troubleshooting issues, and managing equipment replacements. You will also serve as a resource for healthcare professionals and Medtronic representatives Comprehensive training will equip you with a deep understanding of product features, electromagnetic interference (EMI), alerts, and more. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:** + Provide world class technical support to our patients and customers + Serve as a liaison between patients and our technical and marketing partners + Have in-depth knowledge of all relevant products + Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgement and have ownership of projects + Responsible to ensure all documentation/system entries are fully complete + Connect easily with the stakeholders and is customer focused **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + Proficiency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (written and spoken) is required, along with a good level of Italian + Excellent communication skills through phone and email, and demonstrate strong organizational abilities, including flexibility, multitasking, and prioritizing multiple assignments + Be able to contribute to/lead projects supporting the expansion of services in the future + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by speed and effectiveness, along with a keen attention to detail and accuracy + A respected team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of establish relationships with colleagues in other countries and departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience working in a medical technical environment and/or in a technical support contact center, is as must.
