Patient Services Director - Food Service
**Job Description** Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Patient Services Director position to oversee the patient food service activities at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. This is a Management position, responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet patient and customer needs and tastes. Utilizes technical training and interprets government mandated nutritional standards in the healthcare industry on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans. **Job Responsibilities** + Participate in planning and executing consistent nutrition and patient communications and strategies, and serve as a nutrition/patient resource across a multi-site component or highly complex healthcare facility. + Create and manage a network of thought leaders to support nutrition issues and strategies across the component. + Directs patient food service activities, complying with established standards including the patient feeding program and delivery of trays to Leads patient service managers, supervisors and staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients. + Owns the 'Adopt a Floor' program and ensures rounding is conducted on patients/departments + Oversees the diet office and the service ambassador program + Manage and control resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply, and cost control within budgetary guidelines. Directly responsible for adhering to all operational metric expectations. + Records safety and sanitation compliance + Responsible for building rapport and having professionally productive relationships with all hospital constituents including staff, nursing team, clients, peers, department heads, etc. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. + Requires 3+ years of Healthcare food service management experience.? + Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. + Experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs required. + ?Excellent interpersonal, customer services and organizational skills required.? + SERV Safe Certification is a plus. \#FS-300 **Education** **About Aramark** **Our Mission** Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
