Summary of Position:
We believe in making a positive impact for patients. As a key member reporting to the Senior Manager of Patient Support Strategy, you will play an integral role in developing the Patient Centre of Excellence capability.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, implement, and support the AstraZeneca Patient Services Team to ensure seamless delivery to patients and key partners, positioning AstraZeneca as an innovative leader in the field.Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams to use insights and adapt to market dynamics, prioritizing a seamless, patient-first approach.Identify, manage, and enhance third-party vendor relationships to drive innovation and efficiency, positively impacting the patient journey.Contribute to building and designing a comprehensive Patient Services vision and strategy across therapeutic areas to enhance patient success.Stay fully informed about current market dynamics, policies, and competitors from a patient programs and services perspective.Forge external relationships with customers and organizations crucial to the disease area, working closely with key external leaders to implement projects that optimize patient management and outcomes.Partner with the Senior Manager of Patient Support Strategy to manage budgeting, procurement, and financial reconciliations, ensuring adherence to contracts with third-party vendors.Develop, assess, and drive the success of assigned patient services programs.Support the development and implementation of a governance model for the patient services process, including issue management across all portfolios.What We’re Looking For:
5-7 years of experience in Patient Support Programs or the pharmaceutical industry, with proven expertise in launching and operationalizing patient services/support programs at the vendor level—considered a strong asset.Post-secondary education, preferably in health sciences.Deep understanding of the Canadian payer landscape.Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for patient-centric care.Capable of tackling complex challenges in ambiguous and ever-changing environments.Self-driven, highly motivated, and committed to achieving results at an exceptional standard.Proficient in project management, time and financial management, analysis, communication, and interpersonal interaction.Highly adaptable, and a strong advocate for change, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.Effective in highly collaborative, matrixed settings with a cross-functional approach.Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to execute tasks meticulously.Who We Are:
