Patient Services Specialist

Admitting Representative at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Part-Time/Day Shift working Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

The Patient Relations Representative (PRR) is the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and in addressing patient safety issues that arise with acutely ill psychiatric patients.

Required Qualifications: 

In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position upon hire. 1 year customer service experience, or  Successful completion of a Providence internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Some college. 1 year of Medical office or healthcare experience. Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems. Medical terminology experience.
