Under the supervision of an RN, provides continual observation of assigned patients to ensure their safe environment and quickly identify potential safety concerns for those patients.

Performs assigned non-clinical tasks contained in the plan of care and as assigned by the RN.Drag Edit DeleteReports pertinent changes in patient’s status to Primary Nurse and/or Charge Nurse to include but not limited to changes in patients mental status/behavior, overall appearance, safety risks and requests for services that are not currently being provided if appropriate.Drag Edit DeletePromotes patients’ physical and mental wellbeing through appropriate patient communication. Minimum Education

Certifications:
American Heart Association Family and Friends CPR Certificate, Heartsaver, or BLS certification OR American Red Cross BLS. Required within 90 days if not current upon hire
