Patient Transport Tech - Per Diem - Alfond Center for Health
Job Description Summary: Provides and assists with the lifting, moving, and transporting of patients throughout the facility.

Job Description:

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and timely transport of patients within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to designated areas, including those with medical equipment such as oxygen tanks, IV pumps, and monitors.Assist patients in entering and exiting vehicles and transferring to/from wheelchairs or stretchers.Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during transport.Safely handle patient equipment and supplies, such as wheelchairs, beds, and medical devices.

Qualifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification preferred.
