Who: Experienced Lead Retail Sales Associates
The Retail Sales Lead position is responsible for supporting the Store Management team with the day-to-day sales operation of the location and will contribute to the overall success of the store. Retail Sales Leads will manage training compliance while driving operational and sales objectives of the store sales team. Will have key holder responsibilities and lead sales floor in the absence of store management.

Accountable for meeting and exceeding individual goals for store revenue and profitability while achieving the highest standard of customer experienceStay current with market competition, industry, fashion trends and customer shopping behaviorsProactively identifies opportunities to improve store operations or customer experience and develops solutions with Store management teamDrives operational compliance of procedures and policies with Associates; informs store management of any gaps in compliance and performs follow-up with Associates to ensure opportunities are addressedResponsible for ensuring that all Associates are highly knowledgeable on client products and services; ensures Associates possess the soft skills necessary to inform and empower customersModel effective sales and support behaviors by spending time on sales floor; observes Associate sales interactions and provides in-the-moment coaching or recognition; practices scenarios with Associates to demonstrate “what good looks like”Responsible for ensuring location maintains store standards for merchandising, product placement, asset protection, and safety; supports store merchandising and marketing resets are executed according to standards and guidelinesCommunicates specific event promotions, tactics, and sales objectivesResponsible for ensuring all escalated customer service issues are resolvedIs a point of contact to support and provide guidance to Associates and will work directly with the store management team and store support team to resolve concerns or issues timelyCommunicates effectively between the store management team and the store support team on all questions, concerns or improvements neededPerforms work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlinesPosition requires a variable work schedule and will require some work on evenings and weekends and may require working additional hours during product launches and holiday shopping seasonPosition requires a consistent commitment to policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilitiesQualifications:
1 - 3 years of experience working in sales at a high-volume or luxury retail store with experience in the fashion or retail industry preferredPrevious retail lead experience in one or more retail disciplines including sales management, merchandising, operations, inventory/asset protection and/or customer servicePrevious success working in a high visibility/Flagship retail location is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredDemonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills including a proven ability to write in a clear and grammatically correct mannerExperience in coaching and giving timely and relevant feedback to peersAbility to understand the meaning and implications of KPIs and ability to use business analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunitiesA positive “Solve for Yes” attitude, and solutions-oriented approach to businessExcels in judgement for balancing competing priorities and advancing the initiative/projects with the highest impact to the businessRequirements:
