What is Microsurfacing? 
Microsurfacing is one of Downer’s key pavement preservation capabilities. Microsurfacing provides pavement shape correction and a quiet and smooth riding surface with similar aesthetics to asphalt. It is applied at ambient temperature, reducing carbon emissions and allowing a rapid return to normal traffic flows. As a further benefit, reflective pavement cracking can be reduced by up to 30% through the use of fibre-reinforced Microsurfacing.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Microsurfacing is hitting the ground in New Zealand with Downer Transport & Infrastructure this year. As such, Our Penrose team are looking for a physically fit and motivated person to join our crew and lend a helping hand as a Paver Operator. You will be driving the Paver machine, Operating the Mixer and controlling the mix manufacture process, load raw materials onto machine in motion. 

If you enjoy spending your days outdoors and getting involved in practical work, this is the job for you!
