Account Manager, Healthcare

Role Overview:

As an Account Manager in HLS at Fractal Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding our client relationships within the Healthcare (payers, providers) sector. Your primary responsibility will be to drive significant growth in existing client accounts by managing the complete account lifecycle. This includes strategic account planning, relationship management, and leading the coordination with our solutions teams to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Growth: Drive business growth in key healthcare accounts, collaborating with solution teams to manage revenue and margin targets.Account Management: Lead end-to-end management of key accounts, including sales, consulting, and delivery, to achieve annual revenue targets of $5M+ while maintaining high client satisfaction (NPS > 70).Client Engagement: Proactively engage in account farming to open new buying centers and nurture existing ones, positioning Fractal solutions effectively to meet client needs and become a trusted advisor.Opportunity Translation: Build in-depth knowledge of client business priorities, challenges, and initiatives, translating these into actionable opportunities.Utilization and Margins: Manage account utilization and margins, handle client escalations, and represent the full Fractal portfolio, demonstrating expertise in AI, Engineering & Design, Behavioral sciences, and healthcare analytics solutions.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of onshore and offshore professionals, ensuring high-quality consulting services and fostering strong client relationships to stay ahead of the competition.Capability Development: Contribute to the development and sales of healthcare capabilities with a focus on GenAI/AI.

Success Profile

Strategic Leadership: Proven track record in leading strategic engagements within the healthcare payer industry, achieving quarterly and annual goals.Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen with excellent storytelling abilities to map client challenges to Fractal's capabilities and link them to business outcomes.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with client audiences up to C-level, thriving in a collaborative team environment.Experience: Over 10 years of experience in healthcare consulting/account management with knowledge of healthcare data and analytics.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience: 10 years of experience in Sales/Account Management in Analytics/Consulting firms, particularly in the pharmaceuticals industry.Client Interaction: Experience in selling analytical solutions to Fortune 500 companies and handling direct client interactions.Adaptability: Ability to think on your feet, comfortable with ambiguity, and effective in a cross-functional environment.Travel: Work with a geographically distributed team and travel to client sites on the East Coast and Central regions at least 3 days per week.Drive for Growth: Self-driven with a strong desire for rapid career growth, aligning with Fractal's core values: Client First, Extreme Accountability, Humble, Hungry, and Smart.

Education

Degree: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Pay:

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $150,000 - $190,000 (High COLA); $140,000 - $165,000 (Normal COLA)

Benefits:

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.  You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.  In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.   The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
