Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada, is looking for a Payment Associate for a 12-month contract located in Mississauga. Currently a remote position with the possibility of Hybrid in the near future. This is an excellent opportunity for an Payment Associate with a financial services background
As an Payment Associate your duties will include but not be limited to:
Processing and/or fulfilling transactions, performing audit / reconciliation activities and/or other activities in accordance with established priorities and deadlines on a timely, accurate and efficient basis.
Resolving discrepancies that include occasional non-routine situations in accordance with standard procedures.
Recording and verifying data for fulfillment and/or further handling.
Communicating with internal business partners and external customers to respond to standard and occasional non-standard and/or non-routine inquiries according to guidelines
Qualifications required for the Payment Associate include:
0-2 years of related working experience but may also consider new graduates (Economics/Financial/Business)
Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities as well as a fast-learner
