As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst in International Private Banking team, you will be in charge of monitoring incoming and outgoing payments for Private Bank Clients, processing those transactions, investigating issues, liaising with correspondent banks and Front-Office to resolve issues. You are also responsible for processing a number of bookkeeping tickets instructed by various operational teams.
Job responsibilities
Process incoming funds, outgoing client payments, and bank-to-bank transactions efficiently. Release and monitor SWIFT messages to ensure accurate and timely communication. Investigate and resolve issues related to incoming and outgoing wire transfers. Support the business by answering payment queries, locating funds, and expediting issue resolutions. Execute and manage the timely setup of standing order instructions. Process bookkeeping tickets and internal transfers accurately. Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements as needed. Adhere to operational procedures to complete tasks accurately and on time. Monitor daily critical-to-quality metrics and benchmarks for the desk. Respond to queries from the front office, middle office, and counterparties within the same day.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payment operations within the financial industry. Proficient in operating SWIFT, Nostro accounts, and managing international wire transfers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail, and the ability to quickly grasp and retain information. Proven ability to coordinate effectively and work well in a team environment. Strong time management skills, with flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances. Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a high level of accuracy and zero tolerance for errors. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to work shifts covering US, Asia, and EMEA time zones.
