As Payment Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for processing accounting/tax documents, managing operational reference data and liaising with internal customers within the organization as well as external customers outside the organization.

Job responsibilities 

On a daily basis, processing of accounting/tax documents Ensuring payments/processing are made in a timely manner and any delays are promptly investigated Managing vendor's and internal stakeholders’ enquiries Partner with the relevant line of business stakeholders in resolving any issues Support other operational teams who consume data provided by the core operations team & liaise with them to ensure there are no upstream or downstream issues with the transactions. Participate in a culture of continuous improvement with focus on improving processes & delivery efficiency as well as a world class customer experience Participate in working groups supporting strategic platform changes. Research, analyze and resolve any reconciliations needed. Develop strategies to increase cost savings and efficiencies. Lead and/or assist in various projects as needed

Must be able to effectively prioritize and multi task Good understanding of Payment Operations processes Knowledge of Payment Operations applications would be an advantage (SAP, Ariba, Concur) Written and verbal communications skills Ability to interact with both JPMC employees and external vendors Good time management and prioritization skills. Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards Good MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) – SharePoint knowledge

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities 

Degree in Accounting or previous equivalent work experience is preferred. CPA is a plus Outstanding analytical, organizational and research skills with attention to detail Strong organizational skills and a good team player
