Our Team
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payments Industry Analyst who will support the Virgin Money Payments Industry Managers; assist with payments related projects and carry out general Payments analysis, governance and risk related activities.

Virgin Money’s membership of Payments Industry bodies is an essential part of how we deliver the best for our customers and our business, and it is vital that we maintain compliance with all Payments Industry requirements.

What you’ll be doing
• Supporting our Leadership team, Industry managers and Operational teams to ensure we adhere to Payment scheme rules and industry best practice on an annual and ongoing basis
• Assist with projects to improve our payment processes or implement mandatory change from the Payment Schemes or regulators
• Support the governance and risk oversight of payment processes to ensure that we’re doing what we should be for our customers and in line with scheme rules, internal policies, and regulations
• Facilitate the certification process for all Payment Schemes, whilst managing accountable stakeholders across the business
• Assisting with any payment related incidents that may crop up

We need you to have
• Experience working in Payments and in a regulatory/compliance function
• Experience in stakeholder management with excellent communication skills
• An analytic approach- investigating, using data, helping to understand what’s happening and why
• The ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
• Motivation and enthusiasm to help us develop and be the best team we can be

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
• Experience working on projects
• An understanding of risk management
• The ability to work independently and with a team when required
