What you will do:
The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Payments Relationship Manager in the Payments you will be in charge of:
Payment Business Development & Strategy:
Identify and develop new revenue opportunities within payments, such as value-added services, and alternative payment methods. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize checkout experiences, conversion rates, and customer payment preferences. Support market expansion by ensuring the availability of relevant local payment methods and optimizing cross-border payment capabilities. Drive innovation in payments, by assessing and launching new payment methods like open banking, BNPL, and digital wallets, to enhance customer adoption and loyalty. Work with data analytics teams to derive insights from payment trends and translate them into strategic business recommendations.Partner Management & Optimization:
Build and maintain strong relationships with payment service providers (PSPs), acquiring banks, and alternative payment method (APM) providers. Negotiate commercial agreements, transaction fees, and service-level agreements to optimize payment costs and efficiency. Monitor partner performance, resolve operational issues, and collaborate to implement enhancements in payment acceptance and processing.Payment Strategy & Performance Improvement:
Analyze payment performance metrics (approval rates, chargebacks, fraud rates, etc.) and develop strategies to optimize success rates. Identify new payment solutions and market trends to improve customer experience and expand global/local payment coverage. Work with internal teams to enhance routing logic, reduce failed transactions, and minimize payment friction.Risk & Compliance Management:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, card scheme rules, and industry best practices. Collaborate with fraud and risk teams to mitigate chargebacks, fraud, and disputes while balancing customer experience. Stay updated on changes in payment regulations and assess their impact on the business.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with finance teams on reconciliation, settlement issues, and cost management. Support product and engineering teams in integrating and improving payment technologies. Partner with customer service teams to address payment-related customer inquiries.What you need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or a related role, preferably in an e-commerce or OTA environment. Strong understanding of payment processing, acquiring, chargebacks, fraud management, and regulatory compliance. Experience negotiating contracts with PSPs, banks, and payment networks. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of global and local payment trends, including alternative payment methods and digital wallets.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the travel, subscription, or e-commerce industry. Familiarity with payment processing, gateways, risk management tools, and reconciliation processes. Knowledge of PSD2, PSR, 3DS, and other payment regulations.What’s in it for you?
