Payroll Administrator
Job Title: Payroll Administrator Job Description + Review and ensure the accuracy of approved electronic timesheets. + Track and deduct all payroll deductions, including garnishments, benefits, union dues, and other deductions. + Set up Child Support/Bankruptcy and other types of garnishments. + Prepare and process assigned company payroll in a timely manner. + Responsible for coordinating efforts between payroll, department supervision, benefits, human resources, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data, including preparation and distribution of detailed reports such as labor hours and dollars, overtime, leave balances, headcount, retirement contributions, etc. Handle the administration of electronic timekeeping, set up each employee, validate programs, adhere to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), monitor admissions for approved timesheets, and ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll. + Troubleshoot and identify solutions to technical issues. + Establish and maintain employee payroll records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and in a timely manner; review payroll changes for proper authorization and policy compliance. + Ensure system reports are generated timely, accurately, and reliably. Develop and design new reports as requested by the user community. Perform other duties as assigned.
