Payroll Administrator
Description We are in search for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The role involves comprehensive handling of payroll processing, auditing, and administration with an emphasis on union regulations, federal and state laws. Responsibilities • Oversee the weekly payroll operations in collaboration with the Payroll Manager. • Manage weekly union payroll administration, including the maintenance and input of new hires, terminations, wage changes, and other related tasks. • Ensure daily and weekly reconciliation of field employee labor and expenses in accordance with union agreement requirements. • Handle the preparation and distribution of various reports such as weekly Certified Payroll, monthly EEO Utilizations, and monthly union reports. • Assist in managing union benefits in accordance with union agreement requirements. • Carry out audits and process benefit accruals and payments. • Reconcile the General Ledger with monthly payroll reports. • Respond to field employee inquiries in a timely and customer-friendly manner. • Review job costing reports for accuracy and discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with Federal and State payroll wage and hour laws, as well as union contract agreements. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Payroll Administrator role or similar • Proficient in Benefits Payroll management • Holds a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) qualification • Demonstrable experience with Certified Payroll systems • Experience managing Full Cycle Payroll • Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll systems and processes • Experience managing Payroll for over 500 employees • Experience with Payroll in a multi-state environment • Familiarity with Union Payroll systems and regulations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
