\n \n Job DescriptionA Payroll Administrator is the person who is responsible for ensuring that all employees within an organization are paid in an accurate and timely fashion. This is a position which will generally work in an indoor office environment. This administrator will generally keep weekday, daytime hours, though some overtime or extended hours may be necessary. A Payroll Administrator will generally work with other office personnel, as well as accounting and human resources personnel.\n\n
Duties include but are not limited to:
\n\n\nEnter changes to employee payroll records.\nCommunicate with employees regarding changes in salary, benefits, etc. \nHandle voluntary and involuntary deductions.\nCalculate, key, total, and balance substitute payrolls.\nCreate reports for information pertaining to payroll.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\n1+ years of payroll experience required.\nKnowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.).\nKnowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures.\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nConfidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.\nCalculate figures and amounts such as commissions, and percentages.\n\nPreferred Qualifications
