Payroll Administrator
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Santa Clara, California for a Payroll Administrator. The chosen candidate will be part of a team where they will handle vital tasks such as processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Your role will also include monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. Responsibilities • Handle bi-weekly payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency • Preparation and timely submission of payroll journals for recording transactions • Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliation of payroll related accounts • Ensure accurate W-2 preparation at the end of each calendar year • Timely and accurate processing of retirement loan repayments • Lead and implement process improvement projects related to payroll • Conduct reconciliation of selected balance sheet accounts • Preparation of grant invoices as directed by the Grants Accounting Manager • Review and reconcile grants receivables monthly and actively follow up on outstanding payments • Prepare the annual retirement contribution list as instructed by the CFO • Assist with the annual audit and government compliance audit when required • Support continuous system enhancement in Sage Intacct. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions • Capable of conducting Auditing tasks • Knowledge in Benefit Functions • Proficiency in Automated Payroll • Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll • Capable of handling Full Cycle Payroll • Experience in managing Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees • Ability to handle Payroll - Garnishments • Proficiency in Payroll Tax Reporting • Ability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll • Experience in Reconciling Payroll Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
