Working independently under limited supervision for routine and miscellaneous administrative tasks, this job contributes to the execution of payroll processes to support the team in the smooth delivery of a high-quality payroll process, including reconciliation of payroll records, compliance with legislation, and data entry, verification, and administration.Key AccountabilitiesData Collection and Entry – Enters and reviews data, including personal information and fixed and variable payroll data, to provide to the payroll provider in the required standard format.Payroll Recordkeeping – Verifies and ensures data accuracy for essential payroll variables such as employee wages, bank accounts, and addresses for new hires and terminations.Data Quality Assurance – Supports the operations team to ensure a reliable flow of data in the payroll process, ensuring payroll data is verified and variable payroll elements are aligned with organizational policies.Payroll Administration – Performs a variety of routine payroll process tasks such as preparing and distributing paychecks or direct deposits, generating payroll reports, ensuring reconciliation of payroll records, and responding to employee inquiries regarding their pay. Also provide knowledge and application of continuous improvement to the payroll procesPayroll Compliance: Supports research into payroll-related laws and regulations, such as tax withholding requirements, wage and hour laws, and payroll tax returns to help monitor and manage compliance of the organization’s payroll process.Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMINIMUMAdvanced student or bachelor’s degree in a related field (HR, Business administration, etc)1 – 2 Years of related work experienceIntermediate - Advanced Excel knowledgeAdvanced English levelExperience in Payroll processesERP usage (SAP - Streamline)DESIRABLE
Previous work experience with LATAM payroll process
