The Role
As a Payroll Administrator at Baxter ANZ, your role will involve processing employee pay accurately and on time for Australia and New Zealand. This includes following applicable laws, industrial instruments, and company policies.
This is a 12 months fixed term role requiring to work 4 days per week (part-time). This role is exceptionally suited for an experienced payroll professional looking to work with an organization that truly cares.
Responsibilities:
Undertake day-to-day and end-to-end payroll activities ensuring smooth running of payroll
Ensure employee payroll records are accurate and up to date to enable timely payroll processing
Maintain and provide support on the Time and Attendance system (Kronos RealTime)
Respond to enquiries in a professional, timely, and courteous manner
Set up new employees and calculate/process final payments
Assist with the reconciliation of superannuation and PAYG obligations
Partner with the team for process improvements and system maintenance
Key requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll, preferably handling large volumes
Proficient in ADP Payroll system is essential for this role
A proactive and positive approach, innovative problem-solving skills, and a genuine interest in collaborating with others
You will also have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Strong focus on customer service
A solid understanding of EBAs and Awards is good to have.
