Payroll Administrator- Hourly

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for processing hourly payroll and providing administrative support for all payroll functions in compliance with all company, federal, state and local regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Under general supervision, process hourly payroll including load payroll files, transmit to ADP, receive, load, distribute payroll information from system to locations, run payroll reports and general ledger interface and create journal entriesPerform all direct deposit reversals, stop payments and voided checks for the hourly population working with field payroll clerks to resolve issues and obtain missing or inaccurate informationReceive incoming payroll related documents (i.e. child support orders, liens, garnishments, etc.) verify plant/location and enter into payroll systemManage garnishments and transactions related to garnishments (i.e. set up, updating deduction data, responding to internal and external queries, etc.) escalate non-routine queries/issues to managerAudit and reconcile missed medical premiums for employees on leave and/or reverse deductions to adjustOther duties as assigned by managementSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an Individual Contributor role with required competencies: Functional/Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Learning on the Fly, and Interpersonal SavvyEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalentFPC certification preferredEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Minimum one (1) year applicable experience with processing liens, garnishments etc.Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook); experience with Workday preferredMust have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential and appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectivelyAbility to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detailStrong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional mannerMust possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgencySAFETY REQUIREMENTS
