Assist in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for up to 33 company codesPrepares, documents, and disburses payroll checks; calculates gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, FLSA Overtime calculations, etc.)Maintains payroll-specific records and reconciles data; troubleshoots any issues that arise.Assist with preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting and research and resolve payroll/tax reporting issues.Assist with year-end reconciliation of payroll reporting, workers comp reporting and 401k reconciliation.Provide guidance to plant HR leaders and Finance staff, answers questions regarding payroll matters.Knowledge:
Requires intermediate level skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.Multi-state payroll experience highly desired.Canadian payroll processing or international payroll experience a plus.Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.Ability to prioritize work with high volume data, meet established deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, while working in a team or group environmentAbility to communicate clearly, verbally and written, with customers, employees, and management regarding highly confidential and sensitive information.Tax experience including state and local registrations, tax amendments and W2c experience.Skills:
ADP payroll experience a must, Workforce Now or Vantage version preferredExperience with ADP Time & Attendance, or eTimeIntermediate Excel experience required.Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, and TeamsBehaviors:
