Payroll Advisor (f/m/x)in Mars Global Services
Finance Department
Location: Warsaw

This job is responsible for delivering accounting services on behalf of the business unit in full accordance with process requirements and legal regulations. The employee performs their duties diligently, responsibly, and independently. Furthermore, the employee acts as a role model for other associates. They have advanced knowledge of the processes, tools, and applications and are perceived as a sought-out expert by other associates. The employee drives complex changes and improvements and can lead people and projects.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Making simulations and controlling correctness of payroll before final calculation according to given procedures.
Making payroll calculations in the system according to given procedures.
Performing actions following payroll calculation: passing data for booking, preparing files for the bank.
Controlling and correcting errors in payroll calculations.
Checking correctness of actions processed by other employees (Self-Assessment and Quality Check).
Logging errors that may affect payroll in appropriate files.
Meeting time requirements in answering payroll queries.
Developing knowledge of SAP, payroll issues, and legal regulations.
Informing other team members engaged in the project about all important issues.
Participating in training activities as instructed by management to increase their level of knowledge and expertise around Payroll (PY).
Staying up to date in business best practices and regulatory changes by researching different sources of information (Online, Networks, Newsletters, etc.).
Entering payroll and personal data into SAP according to the documents received from the unit and associates, on time and following procedures.
Entering Employee Working Time data (depending on the unit).
Controlling monthly balance of Employee Working Time (depending on the unit).
Preparing prompt and correct statements required in the process according to Associates’ requests.
What are we looking for?
University degree within Finance and Accounting (preferred).
Knowledge of, and experience in core finance functional competencies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
Excellent attention to detail.
Fluent English is required (German is nice to have). Â
