POSITION SUMMARY:
The Payroll Analyst, Shared Services is responsible for performing payroll processing, developing various reports by researching and gathering information, statistics, etc.; maintains confidential payroll records, filing payroll tax returns, collecting, organizing and reporting financial information used in audits, budget development and other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs timesheet calculation, data entry validation, benefit and deduction calculation and maintenance, employee loan file maintenance, financial reports generation, both in regular and off-cycle processing.
2. Computes separation claims and handles pay checks releasing, answers employee verification and query, calculates sick and vacation accruals, performs financial posting and accounts reconciliation and prepared cost analysis report each cycle.
3. Maintains records and filing system for payroll department in a confidential manner, including employee files, all sorts of government filings and tax returns, payroll reports, and workers’ compensation payments.
4. Handles preparation and checking of payroll tax calculation and filing, monthly and annual tax reporting, including individual tax forms preparation and ensures company compliance to government agencies.
5. Participates in audit situation, internal and external purposes.
6. Performs liaison duties such as going to government agencies and banks.
7. Assumes other staff responsibilities in cases of emergency or annual leave.
8. Attends divisional and departmental meeting and training when requested.
9. Performs tasks to a very high degree of accuracy.
10. Ensures that all staff payroll dates are met.
11. Ensures all Government and regulatory filings are submitted with no errors.
12. Ensures all Policies and Procedures are kept up to date and updated as changes occur.
13. Ensures only proper, bona fide employees are entered into the payroll system.
14. Performs all assigned duties efficiently, technically correct, follows Company policies, rules and regulations, requests of Superiors, adheres to procedures and achieve a high standard leading to total guest and Company satisfaction.
15. Performs other/ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. Must have at least 2 years payroll experience
2. Strong knowledge in all government-mandated rulings and has significant experience in dealing with government agencies and regulatory bodies
3. Has extensive experience in timekeeping procedures and processing
4. Preferably with gaming/hotel exposure and at handled at least 3,000 to 5,000 employee headcount
II. Education
College graduate, University graduate in Business is preferred

1. Excellent in MS Advanced Excel
2. Average in English oral and written communication skills
