Payroll Analyst

Pay Rate: $35 Location: Calgary AB Job Type: Contract Our client, a large energy producer, is looking to hire a Payroll Analyst to their team for an initial 6 month contract. This role is currently hybrid in Calgary.
Responsibilities Include: Support all aspects of time and scheduling, as well as ongoing payroll auditing for Canada. Prepare and process payroll for all Canadian employees (salaried, fixed rate, temporary, expatriates) and support regulatory filing and year-end activities. Maintain the accuracy of all payroll related data. Assist with analysis and issue resolution for domestic payroll and time processes to ensure data is administered correctly. Review, coordinate and manage all aspects of SAP Time and Schedule queries (update, audit, review, test, validate). Back up and support for other payroll and time team members during absences. Qualifications: 4+ years of payroll experience working with an integrated financial and payroll system. PCP Certification, enrolled in or completion of NPI payroll designation course preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with a large ERP payroll system, expertise in SAP is preferred. SAP CATS experience is an asset. Strong understanding of federal, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
