What You’ll be Doing -
Looking to make a difference ensuring proper performance of core payroll activities? You'll oversee and ensure the performance of core payroll activities, help address any incidences through ticking tools, and test processes for system changes. You’ll work on calculations for semi-monthly payroll paychecks and termination paychecks while collecting employee signatures for payroll receipts. You’ll manage and oversee local payroll tax calculation-payment, upload/capture payroll requests, saving fund loans, act as the backup of Benefits process identifying of any kind of discrepancies.
You'll report to Payroll Manager.
During a Typical Day, You’ll -
End-to-End Payroll processing for US and Canada including but not limited to the following:
Dedicated to handle the Government pay groupOracle Payroll processing for all cycles – bi-weekly, weekly and dailyAnalysis of payroll prior to approvals to ensure compliance, as well as issues and escalations from employees, Human Capital, Finance, and other stakeholders that require immediate attentionHandle multiple projects and lead special projects as requiredWork on problems and escalations of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsSubject Matter Expert for payroll projectsProvides training and consultation of the day to day processes to other team membersCreate and update process documentations (SOP) and ensure its accuracyWhat You Bring to the Role -
5+ years of experience processing payroll for large multinational organizations for US (and CAN is preferred)Excellent knowledge and experience in processing US and/or CAN end-to-end payroll processingDemonstrated quantitative and analytical skills and KPIExcellent skills in Microsoft products and toolsKnowledge on US Government ReportingAbility to handle multiple projects, and lead special projects and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExpert in Sarbanes Oxley rules and regulationsIn-depth knowledge and experience of Kronos and Oracle PayrollTechnical aptitude – ability to learn, troubleshoot and understand technical problemsGreat interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse populationAble to respect and ensure strict confidentiality of employee and payroll data. High level of integrity and judgmentDemonstrated multi-tasking capability and proven success in a fast-paced environmentUses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.Works independently, receives little guidance.Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsDemonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
