Payroll Analyst - Ground Handling Operation

The AGI Payroll Analyst is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end biweekly payroll process for all US and/or Canadian team members. Must be detail oriented, self-starter and a team player that can work with minimum supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compiles data for a bi-weekly multi-state US payroll or Canadian PayrollOversees timekeeping submissions from field locations and submits biweekly payroll for US and/or CanadaEnters payroll information for incentives, referral bonus, garnishment refunds, and retroactive or benefit refundsReview calculations and audit reports ensuring the accuracy of a payrollReviews and submits Record of Employment reports for Canadian EmployeesPayroll discrepancies research and resolution, including responding to EE questionsUnderstand military timeAttention to detail and possess and excellent Excel skillsAbility to work with big dataPerforms other payroll duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator or similar roleDeep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulationsHands-on experience with payroll software (Preferred Workday and ADP Smart Compliance)Need strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas etc)Excellent analytical skills, need to be able to work with big dataThe ability to work under tight deadlinesBS in Human Resources Management, Accounting or relevant field

Knowledge of state and federal pay regulationsAbility to work independently to resolve payroll issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong customer service skillsAbility to adhere to a tight deadlineNeed strong Excel skills and able to work with big dataExperience with Workday Payroll preferred

LOCATION/SPECIFIC WORKING HOURS:

Headquarters, Miamai, FLMonday - Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.Must work in office
