Position Summary
The Payroll Analyst II position is a key team member of the Corporate payroll team and is responsible for the monitoring and assisting in the process of the company’s US payroll. The role will work closely with the Corporate payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely payrolls. This role is critical to ensure all associates taxes, benefit deductions, hours and other adjustments are properly recorded. As part of the payroll team this role will also assist in other duties and special assignments as assigned.Required Education / Experience / Skills
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent4+ years previous multi-state payroll processing experience requiredWorking knowledge of federal and state wage and hours lawsWorking knowledge of payroll systems – UKG Pro, ADP E-Time and Kronos timekeeping preferredProficiency in Excel – specifically vlookup’s and pivot tablesAbility to deal with sensitive and confidential materialAbility to multitask and work proactively in an ever-changing environmentMajor Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll ensuring timeliness and accuracy.Coordinate and process irregular payments (e.g., sales draws, bonus payments, etc.).Review and process additions and changes to computerized payroll system (e.g., changes in salary, tax withholdings).Process garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies in partnership with third party administratorEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practicesPartner with HR on all matters involving employees' compensation, benefits, 401(k) contributions, HSA accounts, etc.Provide requested data and reports on individual employees as requested by government agencies, employment verifications, and internal inquiries.Additional duties and special projects as assigned.Travel: Not Required
