Key Accountabilities:
Provide the accurate and timely review and submission of EMEA payroll data to meet payroll processing deadlines.Adherence to all EMEA payroll processes and controls to ensure fully compliant payroll operations across the region. Ensure timely completion of EMEA payroll payments (including relevant deductions for employment taxes, other statutory deductions, benefits and other items) and funding.Produce monthly payroll related reconciliations and support GL delivery to all Finance partners.Assist the Head of Payroll - EMEA in implementing the global payroll strategy for the region, including but not limited to data migration reconciliations, parallel payroll runs and integration testing.Provide a best in class employee experience for delivery of payroll.Own the resolution of payroll related myHR cases.Build strong stakeholder relationships across RELX, notably Tax, Finance and Human Resources.Work closely with the payroll vendor to ensure delivery of all target SLA’s and payroll deadlines. Coordinate the required administrative steps for EMEA payroll invoices and ensure timely approval and submission to Finance for payment.Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum 1 year end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in for EMEA countries and in a BPO/Shared Services set-up
With 1 year experience in processing end-to-end payroll, including but not limited to year end processing, statutory payments and reporting.Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably in Business or Finance/AccountingDemonstrable experience of supporting EMEA payroll transformation projects highly beneficial.Experience and knowledge with 3 or more EMEA countries is desirable.Previous use of Workday and associated payroll integrations desirable.Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of building personal networks.Amenable to work in mid shift (EMEA hours)Amenable to work during PH holidays (will follow UK/EMEA holidays)Knowledge in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point etc. Experience with any Payroll System and Ticketing tool/system.
