Payroll Analyst III      

Position Summary

As Senior Payroll Analyst you will be responsible for processing payroll guaranteeing that all related regulations and legal requirements are met. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely salary payment, bonuses and other compensation components to our employees. This position plays a key role in driving and improving the processes and controls in the area and in the relationship with vendors, systems and partner areas like Finance and Accounting, taking Payroll processes to a new level by making them automated and scalable


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Payroll process and calculation review, Vendor Management, Payroll controls and continuous improvement.

Time and Attendance information management and overtime calculationSetting up employee option for pension, benefit, and all other taxable benefit and deductionsChanges and updates such as merit, adjustment in pay, pension deduction percentageHandling severance file for terminated employeesCommissions payments and bonusesPayment submission for salary advancesMonthly payroll payments and input/output analysis and validation.Bank payments controls and reconciliationsAccounting preparation and checking for alignment with the finance teamPayroll Taxes ValidationCompliance / Audit Review / GDPRContinuous improvement for the Payroll processing and check processes, looking for automation opportunitiesRespond to employees inquiries regarding payroll and various payroll related matters aligned with Payroll SLAs and critical metricsParticipate in global systems implementation projects, definition of roles and responsibilitiesPayroll migrations processesActive participation in improvement and stabilization projects.

Required Qualification:

Proven experience in payroll for large and mid-size organization.Having managed Payroll processes for: Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica Payroll.Previous experience working with multiple payroll entities would be considered as a huge assetPayroll legislation, calculations and payroll vendor management knowledge.Process improvement mentality and experienceEnglish Level B2 or higherProficient in ExcelExperience in automation processesAccounting background in payroll

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, labor laws of the countries supported, compensation, staffing, employee relations, etc.Regional experience with payroll projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
