About the role:
As the Payroll & HR Services Lead for the Philippines, you will manage a diverse team of payroll & Services professionals to deliver efficient and accurate payroll services. This role is part of our HR Services function, which is responsible for providing best-in-class HR services to our employees and leaders.
Reporting: The role reports to the Head of HR Services – ANZ/SEA
What this job involves:
Lead the end-to-end payroll processing for the Philippines, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsShape the future of the payroll function at JLL, driving innovation and continuous improvementMentor and develop the payroll team, fostering a high-performance cultureActively participate in Global Payroll Communities of Practice, sharing best practices and driving standardizationUnderstand HR Services model to understand and resolve employee queries promptlyDevelop and refine the HR knowledge base to enhance employee self-service capabilities, defining what success looks likeWork with key stakeholders to optimize payroll processes and strengthen relationshipsIdentify variances in monthly payroll and develop mitigation strategiesOversee monthly returns and payments for all vendors, including statutory deductions and contributionsEnsure accurate data transfer between HRIS and the payroll vendor system, reducing manual intervention from the teamLead audit activities as requiredContribute to the broader HR Services strategy across SEA, aligning payroll initiatives with overall HR objectives and Service delivery modelSkills, Experience & Knowledge
5+ years of experience managing a large payroll function and teamStrong understanding of HR Operations and Service Delivery best practicesExcellent customer experience mindset with a focus on high-quality payroll deliverySuperior written and verbal communication skillsStrong business, financial, and analytical acumenAbility to inspire and lead a diverse, flexible teamChange agent who challenges the status quo and adapts to different ways of workingPassion for payroll and understanding of key user experience driversProficiency in multiple systems, including HRIS, Payroll, Case Management, and collaboration tools (SAP payroll beneficial)Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives and process standardizationExpertise in high-volume payroll processingUp-to-date knowledge of relevant Philippine labor laws and compliance requirementsStrong team player with the ability to work independently when requiredExceptional time management and prioritization skillsWhat you can expect from us
