Payroll and SI specialist
Overall objective of the Role Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure the processing of an accurate and timely payroll. Displays decision-making skills that support company and payroll policies. Main Responsibilities Key responsibilities: + Independently process payroll from end to end according the defined standards and client requirements including all associated payroll tasks + Independently manage social insurance related documents and data entry + Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate BI tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds + Ability to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and all associated activities + Be able to understand and interpret a payslip + Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar + Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities + Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information + Produce and understand standard and client specific payroll reports including statutory year end reporting needs + Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiates corrections per the defined standards + Answer payroll related questions and requests + Support and execute SOC1 Controls + Maintain and apply defined work instructions (DWIs) + Perform Transactions with Third parties + Provide clear knowledge transfers to peers + Support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process + Support and manage system maintenance testing + Support technical issue coordination and resolution + Maintains current knowledge of legislation requirements; system updates, changes and overall payroll procedures + Participates in projects and activities as needed and assigned Key Criteria to monitor performance + Adherence to all Security and Compliance procedures + 100% Attainment of customer SLA agreements + Adherence to quality standards + Demonstrate professionalism and act responsibly Core Competencies + Be Accountable - Take advantage of the World of Opportunity and demonstrate personal responsibility and eagerness to explore & acquire the necessary skills.
