Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll/AR Specialist in the Overland Park, Kansas, 66212, United States. The role is in the finance industry and involves key skills such as account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, data entry, Microsoft Excel, month-end close, and payroll. Responsibilities: • Accurately maintaining customer credit records • Efficiently processing customer credit applications • Resolving customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary • Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records • Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) duties • Performing bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy • Utilizing Microsoft Excel to organize data and perform financial calculations • Assisting with month-end close procedures • Managing payroll activities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies effectively • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment scheduling • Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, customer communication, and debt recovery • Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial data • Strong skills in Data Entry, with attention to precision and speed • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and financial modeling • Experience in conducting Month End Close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting • Proficiency in Payroll management, including wage calculation, tax computation, and regulatory compliance Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
