About the role: We are currently looking for a driven individual to join our Payroll Team. As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative activities related to Payroll, and managing benefits, as well as taxes. 

 

As a Payroll Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

Lead full cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timelines, including interface management, data entry accuracy checks, and providing resolution of payroll-related queries and disputes.  Conduct analysis and research to support payroll processing, including off-cycle and special payroll requests, and execute country-specific payroll processes such as statutory maternity payments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather updates affecting individual pay, closely working with teams managing benefits and deductions to ensure alignment.  Maintain employee payroll files, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and managed personal data with utmost confidentiality and discretion within legal guidelines. Drive continuous improvement in HR administrative services, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance service offerings, and maintain high customer service standards throughout all aspects of work. 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 

1 – 2 years of hands-on experience in a Payroll Office, proficient in payroll functions and processes.  Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems, demonstrating practical usage and navigation skills.  Exceptional ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.  Strong problem-solving and judgment skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.  Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure, ensuring timely completion of deadlines. Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer
