With our support, Publicis Groupe agencies continue to create and deliver award-winning campaigns for their clients. **Overview** The Payroll Associate is responsible for coordinating and performing payroll services for Agencies within Latin America (including Costa Rica), in order to guarantee and ensure the integrity of the accounting information, internal policies adherence and compliance with law and public Institutions of each country through an optimum payroll processes. **Responsibilities** **Payroll Processing & Administration** + To perform the entire payroll cycle and revise prior to proceeding with payroll payments, including during the revision, deductions, new hires, change of statute signations/dismissals, bonuses, etc. + To guarantee accurate payroll payments and deductions from company employees’ paycheck or transfers. + To analyze, calculate and process severances and terminations. + Responsible to check that the payroll formulation is accurate each time the payroll process runs. **Compliance & SLA Management** + Assure full compliance of negotiated Service Level Agreement with Agencies and counterparts by a proper administration of deadlines and volume. + To follow up on audit recommendations along with agencies and being proactive in payroll controls. + Execute the three-way match for legal reports (Social Intake form Human Capital- Recruitment Team Security and taxes). The three-way match includes Journal Entry payroll, Social Security, and Taxes report from the ERP and Legal Invoices. **Reporting & Accounting** + To timely prepare reports and payments, according to SLA with each country. These reports might include (but are not limited to) Social Security, Insurances, and Taxes. + Prepare and analyze the accounting records processed by the payroll department; limited to: JE Payroll, termination, bonus, and any other payroll payment requested. The analyst is responsible for reviewing the accuracy of the JE before sending it to the customer. + Responsible for the payroll chart of accounts’ accuracy. A review should be held before sending the information to the customer. + Provide support to the accounting department on the payroll reconciliation process. **Payroll System Implementation & Support** + To participate in the migration and implementation of new payroll services and work along with the Payroll BPO in all requirements for setting up payroll for each country or agency. **Qualifications** **Education** + Business Administration, Accountant or related field. **Experience** + At least two years of experience in similar positions in Payroll. **Skills** + Upper Intermediate English level.Excel Intermediate level.
