Job Description Job Purpose We are looking for a Payroll Associate to lead our payroll function. You’ll work to ensure our payroll expenses and taxes are paid correctly and on time. Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in payroll administration and a good understanding of payroll regulations. Responsibilities HR Compliance, Payroll & Audits: Have a good understanding and experience in Payroll Processing. Processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises). Ensure Payroll related compliance is processed on time (PF, PT, ESI, LWF, TDS) Ensure Shops & Establishments compliances are adhered to. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions. Knowledge and Experience Good knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. Understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes PAN India will be an advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills is MUST Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism. Attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly. Proficient with Microsoft Office software is MANDATORY. Postgraduate /bachelor’s degree in bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field 5 years of overall experience with at least 2 years being in payroll role. Schedule India Standard hour but with flexibility to be available for late evening calls as needed. This role is Hybrid and expected to be in office minimum 4 days a week.
