Payroll Associate II

Under supervision, the Payroll Associate II is responsible for performing daily tasks which support the accurate and timely processing of the domestic payroll. The Payroll Associate II will provide the highest level of customer service, must have the ability to handle a variety of tasks with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery, and must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Essential Functions

Monitors Payroll inbox on a daily basis.Responds to email requests for timecard adjustments in a timely manner.Coordinates, responds to and tracks all timecard adjustments.Calculates paycheck adjustments and maintains accurate recordkeeping resulting from timecard adjustments.Enters timecard adjustments into Payroll system in a timely manner.Responds to all internal and external inquiries including but not limed to, timecard corrections, garnishments, VOE’s, & requests for wage data.Opens, scans, sorts, and distributes incoming mail.Opens service requests with Payroll vendor to support garnishment processing.Creates team reminders and meeting invites related to Payroll processing.General other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:2 Years – Experience in payroll or other related field2 Years – Experience in Position

Preferred Qualifications:4 Years – Experience in payroll or other related field4 Years – Experience working in Position               4 Years  – Experience in multi-location and multi-state payroll

Education

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent work experiencePreferred: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience

Skills/Experience

Preferred:           Experience with ExcelPreferred:           Experience with Kronos Application or similar timekeeping systemPreferred:           Experience with Workday or other HCM system

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Hourly

$23.58 - $31.24 / Hourly
