Accounting/Payroll Clerk Transdev in Dallas, TX State is hiring an Accounting/Payroll Clerk. The Accounting/Payroll Clerk assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities: * Process new employee files & records and submit them to the General Manager for approval; submit appropriate paperwork to the regional accounting office. * Calculate & input driver & staff payroll into system for processing. * Track attendance for part-time employees. * Responsible for fare reconciliation & deposits. * Assist General Manager in accurately tracking overtime to reduce and eliminate unnecessary and/or additional punch hours. * Other duties as required. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment. * Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. * Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: * Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. * Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces * Push and pull objects up to XX pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level * Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
