Payroll Clerk Office Assistant

Busy office is currently hiring a payroll clerk for a local branch office. The position is full time and permanent. The company will provide benefits after a short probationary period. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a matching 401k, PTO, and other incentives.

Experience is not required, however, the ideal applicant will have experience handling payroll processing duties. Individuals with basic human resources or accounting experience or a degree in HR or Accounting & Finance, familiar with verifying timesheets, adding hours, and inputting payroll into ADP are encouraged to apply.

The payroll clerk is responsible for performing heavy data entry. The position will review submitted timesheets/timecards from hourly employees. Ensure hours are accurate before submitting into the payroll processing system. Update or change employee information, withholdings, deductions or garnishments. You will run reporting and submit to the office bookkeeper or work with the corporate accounting department.

Intermediate mathematical skills
