Payroll Coordinator
SWBC is seeking a talented individual to perform a variety of payroll related tasks which include maintaining employee and payroll records, reviewing, and maintaining timekeeping records, and processing new hires; researching and resolving inquiries as they relate to the processing of payroll information; and assists in special projects assigned by management and serves as backup for all Payroll Specialists.

Essential duties include the following:

Periodically assists in payroll processes and reconciles payroll data.Assists with Payroll related projects as needed.Assists in auditing payroll systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.Responds to employee and departmental inquiries regarding general payroll- related questions.Responds to verification of employment for third party check agencies.Responsible for scanning and maintaining payroll documents and record retention.Processes E-Verify employment verifications adhering to federal deadlines for all client companies.Processes third party check processing for all clients.Processes data entry for child support deductions.Responsible for processing ACH change verifications.Processes third party check reconciliation.All other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of two (2) years of experience as it pertains to payroll processing, garnishments & general deductions, and W-2 & I-9 maintenance.Bilingual preferred.Strong working knowledge of processing job costed and certified payrolls.Strong working knowledge of personal computers and payroll database systems.Working knowledge of handling routine payroll tasks and effectively communicating the results.Knowledge of time clock systems.Knowledge of state laws concerning payroll, overtime, and the like.Able to process multiple payrolls for numerous Clients with various payroll schedules.Proficient skills in MS Excel, Prism HR, Word, and PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong ability to focus on details, demonstrate accuracy, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
