Payroll Coordinator
Overview Sunday-Thursday | 7 AM - 3 PM Responsibilities Payroll associate for the site hourly frontline-team members, Kronos owner/expert Completion of pay edits, job bid changes, payroll JEs as needed Audit timecards and overtime; missed punches; missed lunches; etc. Document and track attendance for the site team members Be able to explain local plant pay and attendance policies to associates and in New Employee Orientation Provide Resources accurate, timely attendance discipline templates Ensure employee punches are approved and proper Kronos punch corrections are maintained to support SAG & SOX compliance. Input special pay requirements IE: vacation, jury duty, funeral leave, holiday, military Participate in any conference calls with corporate discussing any payroll related issues that occur Be able to communicate effectively with associates to resolve pay and attendance issues Complete the weekly payroll pivot tables and required overtime spread sheets Close and verify accurate and timely payroll as well as be able to run and execute queries in SAP Ensure financial and attendance controls are maintained and practiced per company policy Develop a thorough understanding of payroll reports and how they are created out of Kronos Develop Kronos pay rule understanding in order to verify pay rules in Kronos or assist HR in changing pay rules Reconcile Kronos payroll system Compliance with all SAG requirements Other duties assigned by your Manager. Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $37,000 - $58,950 based on a full-time schedule. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
