**Overview** THIS IS A REMOTE - HYBRID POSITION. THIS PERSON MUST LIVE WITHIN AN HOUR OF THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN LOVELAND, OH. The Payroll Coordinator completes corporate payroll preparation, processing and distribution. Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for assigned cities. Assists employees and branch payroll staff with payroll related issues. **Responsibilities** Your work should be more than just a job. We’re looking for someone to come in, roll up their sleeves with positive outlook and professional attitude. In this role, you’ll process payroll for several branch location across multiple states. + Performs payroll processing activities that include data entry, balancing earnings and deduction totals, inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports, identifying and correcting any errors. + Processes garnishments, levies, bankruptcies, student loans and child support orders per state and federal regulations. + Produces manual checks and pay advances as required. Verifies accuracy of required deductions. + Processes daily pays/instant pays. Ensures accurate deductions occur weekly. Maintains logs for reconciliation purposes. + Calculates and processes retroactive pay increases. + Processes pay adjustments received from the branches and benefit deduction adjustments received from the Human Resources Department.Works collaboratively with branch personnel and corporate billing personnel to resolve fatal verification errors for payroll processing. + Maintains accurate direct deposit account information. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Two years experience processing computerized payroll in a medium size firm. + Experience using Homecare Homebase, Kronos, or Oracle PeopleSoft preferred. + General knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations preferred.
