Responsibilities The Opportunity • Ensure the accurate calculation of regular, extraordinary, and annual payroll as provided by the BPO, based on compliance with work protocols, policies and procedures, government laws, and activities outlined in the Payroll Checklist, to guarantee that the payroll calculation process aligns with GCS controls. • Validate the post-payroll process: final accounting simulation, final bank simulation, and validation of final reports to ensure correct calculations based on GCS controls. • Safeguard and back up the regular, extraordinary, and annual payrolls generated, and document any incidents that occur during the process to ensure compliance with GCS and procedures. • Participate in country-specific tax processes, ensuring and validating the preparation of fiscal payrolls and their upload to the legal/fiscal platform. • Resolve assigned requests and services to ensure client service according to SLA requirements and present KPI results to Committees. • Actively participate in assigned projects and initiatives to improve and streamline processes. • Knowledge/support of the model: GCS, backups, controls, indicators, critical experiences, audits, and self-assessments. Your Impact As Payroll Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of a) Payroll concept calculation for El Salvador b) Validation of tax and social security calculations for El Salvador c) Issuance and validation of payroll receipts for El Salvador d) Preparation of payroll accumulations for El Salvador e) Validation of tax and social security calculations for El Salvador a) Payroll concept calculation for Guatemala b) Validation of tax and social security calculations for Guatemala c) Issuance and validation of payroll receipts for Guatemala d) Preparation of payroll accumulations for Guatemala e) Implementation of GCS controls for the process in Guatemala and El Salvador f) Validation of tax-related data and uploading to government platforms (“Libro de Salarios” and Reten) Qualifications ¿Who Are We Looking For? • Bachelor's degree in the economic-administrative field. • 3 years of experience in payroll calculation. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. • Intermediate English proficiency preferred. • Knowledge of payroll systems. • Understanding of tax regulations in El Salvador and Guatemala • Collaborate and Influence • Act with Integrity • Inspire Trust • Teamwork • Work Under Pressure • Service-oriented Attitude • High Degree of Honesty • Analytical Skills • Commitment and Responsibility If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
