Job Description
A client in Arlington, TX is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their Corporate Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 1,500 employees
Calculate pay for new hires and terminations.
Prepare manual checks and handle garnishments, child support, and tax levy orders.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation and related taxes.
Collaborate closely with Human Resources to maintain adherence to company policies.
Run queries in PeopleSoft, research, and address payroll-related inquiries.
Conduct all business professionally and ethically to enhance customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Availability to work overtime as needed.

Skills and Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three years or more previous payroll processing experience
Experience processing for 1,500+ employees
Experience processing semi-monthly payroll
Must understand and be able to calculate variety of incentive pay
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Must have attention to detail
